Helping Hands

There is a statue of Christ located at a church in California whose hands were broken off by vandals. Instead of replacing the hands, a sign was hung on the statue that simply said, “I have no hands but yours.” This truly is the idea behind the “Helping Hands” Ministry at Friendship. For every church, there is a time to gather together – and there is a time to scatter to serve. Each Saturday, a group of men and women from the church “scatter” into the community as Christ’s hands to serve others. The Helping Hands ministry has been involved in the clean-up of leaves, built ramps for senior citizens, and assisted with minor home repairs.

If you would like to be a part of this ministry, meet at the church at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. We would love to serve with you.

If you have a need that you would like Helping Hands to consider, you can make your request here.
