Friendship Cares

The picture of the church is quite gripping – there is nothing like the local church when it is working right. Its beauty is indescribable. Its power is breath-taking and its potential unlimited. The church functioning as it is intended to function comforts the grieving and heals the broken in the context of community. It builds bridges to seekers and offers truth to the confused. It provides resources for those in need and opens its arms to the forgotten. Whatever the capacity for human suffering, the church has a greater capacity for healing and wholeness – the radical message of God’s transforming love has been given to the church.

Without question – we in the body of Christ are called to care for one another. It is part of our mutual ministry as a community of faith. As Christians who have experienced the love of Christ, we are commanded to love and care for one another. The Friendship Cares page allows us to share with our membership the various needs of those in our church family so that the Friendship Family can come alongside for the purpose of caring and assisting. It is not our intent to make a lot of noise about caring for one another, we simply want to be faithful to follow through.

Thank you in advance for your help in caring for others. It is great to be a part of a church family that cares.
